History of Nice Holdings Group (Japan)
Below you can find a brief historical outline of how our mother company, Nice Holdings, came into existence.

It all started in 1950, when Ichi-Uri Mokuzai Kabushiki Kaisha, the forerunner of Nice Holdings Inc., was established as a timber auction company. In 1959, the company also began selling building materials, housing equipment and housing parts in general.

In the 1970s, condominium and detached house sales businesses were started. The company was promoted to the First Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange.

As Japan has to deal with a lot of natural disasters, a "Housing Structural Reform" campaign aimed at promoting earthquake-resistant homes began in 2001. In 2010, the POWER HOME, implementing the Suteki Wood System®, was developed and made available for orders.

In June 2010, Nice Holdings Group commemorated it 60th anniversary. They started expanding overseas: the group's European arm, Suteki Europe, was established in Brussels, Belgium in 2012. Apart from Japan and Europe, Nice Holdings Group is also active in the USA, Canada, Oceania, Russia, China, Taiwan and Indonesia, mostly under the name Suteki Home.
