SEFI – European Society of Engineering Education – is an international non-profit organisation established by 21 European universities in 1973. It is the first example of an organisation directly linking institutions, associations, companies and individuals involved in engineering education. It acts as an international forum for discussing problems and identifying solutions relating to engineering education and improves communication and exchange between professors, researchers and students within Europe. SEFI contributes to the development and the improvement of higher engineering education by preserving the diversity of courses and of teaching methods and promoting co-operation between industry and those engaged in engineering education. Thus, it supports the European development in Higher Engineering Education following its own flagships according to the EU Agenda 2020.
