Le CAD, reconnu par la FWB, a pour mission de collecter et de sauvegarder la mémoire collective des mouvements sociaux-chrétiens et démocrates-humanistes.
Le CPCP dispose d’un Centre d’Archives et de Documentation (CAD) qui a pour mission de collecter et de sauvegarder la mémoire collective des mouvements sociaux-chrétiens et/ou démocrates-humanistes. Il a également pour mission de rendre cette mémoire collective accessible aux chercheurs, étudiants, historiens et toute personne intéressée par la vie politique.
Ses principaux fonds archivistiques sont ceux du Parti Social Chrétien, du Centre Démocrate Humaniste, des Jeunes PSC et Jeunes cdH, du Cepess, du CPCP, des Femmes PSC, Femmes cdH, de personnalités politiques…
