Annemarie IJKEMA (Ambika) is a certified Sivananda hatha yoga teacher (200 hours RYS). She’s been teaching yoga since 2010 on an ad-hoc basis, and since 2012 regularly at the Sampoorna Yoga Studio & the sports centre of the council of the European Union. She teaches 60 or 90 minute yoga classes based on the 5 points of yoga: proper exercise, proper breathing, proper relaxation, proper diet, positive thinking & meditation.
She’s also a certified Yin Yoga teacher, after completing an 80 hours Yoga Alliance teacher training and assignment with Sarah Powers with the Insight Yoga Institute in 2014. She has furthermore studied prenatal and postpartum yoga with Carla Anselm in 2015 and finished the Yin Yoga foundations TTC (30 hrs) with Joe Barnett in 2016.
Ambika is available for both individual as in-company group classes upon request.
Ambika is a certified health coach and lives a vegan lifestyle.
