Our project, Europe for Her, is a conference scheduled for January 2019 which aims to explore the subject of women's empowerment in regions and cities.

Geschiedenis

The Y-Factor project aims to reach out to the youth and to have an impact with regards to their view on the EU and how they envision the future of it. Our project aims to deal within the framework of the "Reflecting on Europe: the voice of regional and local authorities to rebuild trust in the European Union" upcoming opinion and the solicitation of Donald Tusk to the Committee of the Regions to organize citizens' dialogues in towns, cities, and regions, but also within the CoR. It is important to us to spread the values of the European Union and we hope that the Y-Factor project can contribute to a positive understanding of the Union by the youth.

There will be several informative workshops at secondary schools in around seven different European regions, during which the students can share their vision of the future of the EU. Secondly, a concrete policy proposal regarding the future of the EU will be the result of a small conference at the CoR. Both "end products", which are interlinked by the subject of the future of the EU, will be presented at the end of the conference.

[Y]Factor is a bi-annual project, designed and implemented by the trainees of the European Committee of the Regions. Each session of trainees inherits the brand and puts their own shape on it.
