Visible Film was created last April 2014 in Brussels with offices based in the Shuman European district center, and is managed by Thierry Detaille, associated with producer Iva Tkalec (project pre-sales & commissionning) and with theatrical programmer Sylvain Gressier (all media world sales & theatrical distribution). With a strong International co-production forums and TV markets action, Visible film yearly pre-sales 6 to 10 projects, bridging financing gap, enabling Creative Europe support, funding through Belgian Tax shelter operators, and releases 10 to 15 new completed films.

Visible Film is involved in long tail sales on the distribution arch while going theatrical with its feature documentaries. As founding member of EduDoc initiative along with Docs Online Foundation, Visible Film reaches European educational rights end users, while actively offering its catalog to European VOD and micro-casters.

Visible Film consults in the field of international financing and marketing and is decision making at the occasion of yearly events such as East European forum, MEDIMED, EDN Thessaloniki pitching, Pitching du réel in Nyon, Sheffield Meet market, Baltic Sea Screening, Dok Leipzig, IDFA Forum.

Visible Film’s catalog fits international television and all media best standards, and focuses on one-off, feature length with TV reversion, contemporary society, human interest with a positive standpoint, geopolitics, current affairs, and history mini-series.
