The Shift is the Belgian meeting point for people and organisations striving for the transition to a more sustainable society and economy.

Geschiedenis

Created by former sustainability networks KAURI and Business & Society Belgium, The Shift launched its ambitious project in June 2015. Being the national contact point for CSR Europe and the World Business Council for Sustainable Development, we bring together over 330 entities ranging from private companies, NGOs, academic institutions, governmental bodies and other key actors in society. Together with our members and partner organisations, we aim to develop innovative solutions to the biggest challenges faced by our planet, people and future prosperity.

Our community of diverse organizations has one common goal: to actively work together towards a more sustainable economy and society. We bring together some 520 companies, NGOs, public and academic institutions and are the national point of contact for the World Business Council for Sustainable Development WBCSD, CSR Europe and B Corp. The diversity of our members makes The Shift unique in Europe and in the world."
