Here you can strengthen your knowledge of Europe's common history and shared memories, reflect on the present, and visualize the future.

Our aim is to provide a permanent source for the interpretation of Europe's past – a reservoir of European memory. We also form a leading platform for connecting institutions dealing with European history and heritage.

We believe the House is an exceptional place, where visitors become involved and can enjoy learning about the history of Europe and the process of integration, in twenty-four European languages.

"Discover the history of the continent of Europe in this free museum in Brussels, Belgium. Our permanent exhibition begins with the myth of the goddess Europa, delving into Europe’s ancient roots and heritage of shared traditions, before continuing through Europe’s dramatic journey towards modernity in the 19th century and rebuilding process following World War II. We are open 7 days a week with audioguides in 24 languages, learning resources for schools and special trails for families."
