Geschiedenis

The institute’s main activity is to facilitate cultural export and artist exchange in all fields of culture. Recent activities have taken place in the fields of cinema, graphic design and graphic novels, music, performance arts and visual arts. All the institute's activities start from the grassroots level: it always works together with local partners.

The Finnish Cultural Institute for the Benelux is an independent non-profit organisation that was established in 1993. It is a part of the network of Finnish cultural and academic institutes and works in close cooperation with Finnish embassies in the Benelux and other Finnish cultural organisations.
