EBEC is a three-phased European engineering competition for students, consisting of 80 Local Rounds and 14 National/Regional Rounds.
EBEC Challenge is an European engineering competition for students, organised by the Board of European Students of Technology (BEST). Spreading across 32 countries, EBEC Challenge accomplishes its mission of developing students by offering them an opportunity to challenge themselves in solving either theoretical or practical engineering problem. The students will work on solving the modern world problems in the two different EBEC Challenge categories: Team Design or Case Study.
Bringing together students, universities, companies, institutions and NGOs, EBEC Challenge aims to put the students’ full range of multidisciplinary knowledge and personal skills to the test and apply this newfound potential into solving real-life problems, all the while working in teams of four.
Under the core service of BEST, EBEC Challenge provides complementary education. During the competition, active and inquisitive students have the chance to apply the knowledge they gained through university, to improve their communication skills, to broaden their horizons, and to develop their creativity and communication skills.
EBEC Challenge contributes in the support and advancement of the technological education, as well as in the promotion of collaboration in a multicultural environment.
