"Standardisation and harmonisation of Energy Attribute Tracking systems for electricity and gases biomethane, hydrogen within Europe. By creating the European Energy Certificate System, AIB has harmonised the use and international exchange of Guarantees of Origin, providing a trustworthy instrument for European consumers interested in electricity from renewable sources. By providing the AIB HUB, the Guarantees of Origin can be traded cost efficiently and securely between the 35 members of the organisation. All AIB electricity members are assigned by their government as the single issuing body of Guarantees of Origin for their member state."
