We provide a network of support, evidence-based information and resources for the English and Spanish-speaking families as well as adults at work affected by ADHD, Autistic Spectrum Conditions, Dyslexia and other Learning disorders.

Geschiedenis

Our mission is to provide a network of support, evidence-based information and resources for the English-speaking families affected by Attention-Deficit/ Hyperactivity Disorder (AD/HD) and related conditions in Belgium, as well as for their teachers and other professionals who work with them. By doing this, we hope that we can spread awareness about AD'HD and the related conditions that often coexist with it, such as Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, Dyspraxia, Asperger's Syndrome (AS), etc. so that the children and adolescents who suffer from this chronic condition will have the opportunity to achieve to their full potential at school and live balanced and productive lives as adults.
We also hope that our efforts will do much to reduce the stigma surrounding AD/HD that still exists today - mainly because of media misinformation - , which is something that has a significant effect on the number of children and adolescents who remain undiagnosed and untreated.
We hope that you will take the time to look carefully at the information on this website and let others know where they can find authentic evidence-based information and resources about this misunderstood and much maligned disorder, which is unfortunately very real and can ruin lives when no effort is made to detect and treat it.
