The World Vision office in Brussels works to ensure EU policies and practices positively impact vulnerable children and their communities. www.wvi.org/eu
World Vision’s Brussels & EU Representation office works to support our engagements with the institutions of the European Union (EU), as well as the many pan-European institutions, civil society and NGO actors, academic and private sector organisations based in the city.
The Brussels office interacts with these groups in pursuit of two main strategic goals:
1) To influence key EU decision-makers and political processes so that policies, programs and funding opportunities of the EU positively impact vulnerable children and their communities.
2) To promote and facilitate access by World Vision offices around the world to the funding opportunities provided by the EU, the largest single donor for development and humanitarian aid.
The team in the Brussels global capital office collaborates closely with colleagues in World Vision’s European offices as well with staff throughout the world. This allows us to communicate directly the concerns of children and youth to decision-makers in Brussels.
