The Pit's - the concertvenue and Youth Bar (Jeugdhuis) of VZW Bang Zoom Noise Produktions - was founded in december 1988 as a counterpoint to the percieved commercialisation and conformity of other music venues in the area.

Now, after almost 30 years, the tiny space has hosted thousands of bands from all over the world and in almost all musical genres. What makes this feat even more impressive is that this was all accomplished by a very mixed and ever changing team of unpaid volunteers from all walks of life.

Highpoints in the venue's programmation include:
The Mummies, Antiseen, New Bomb Turks, the Spits, the Locust, Dead Moon, D.O.A., Strychnine, Rancid, Adolescents, The Kids and many many more.

We are open ONLY for events, unless stated otherwise, from 19:30 onward, with live music always being done at 22:00.
