Geschiedenis

Soltech is a product developer, manufacturer and system designer all under one roof. It is a leading innovation hub in BIPV, using its strong links at all levels of the PV industry from cell R&D and advanced encapsulation methods to the front-end of the installations market, to design perfect fit products for its clients’ physical, visual and performance requirements.

Soltech is one of Europe’s most experienced PV development firms. Operational since 1989, it has developed PV products for many applications which are today familiar, such as BIPV, remote lighting & communications, street & marine furniture.

By maintaining flexibility in production and product specification, we seek to open up the BIPV market to enable applications in an ever-increasing range of building materials. By working with material manufacturers to allow seamless integration of PV into the construction process, adding in system design and installation support, Soltech aims to make BIPV as cost-effective as standard panels.

Soltech operates mainly in UK, Western Europe and North America, though for a project requiring our specialist expertise, location is not a barrier.
