Sail Aegean offers bareboat and skippered charters for fantastic, unforgettable sailing holidays in the Pagasitikos Gulf and Sporades islands from its base in Volos.

Magnesia’s capital, the unique city of Volos (from which the mythical Argo, with the heroic Jason and the Argonauts set sail in search of the Golden Fleece) will be the port from which you set sail for many idyllic destinations.

You could discover the beautiful unspoilt bays, coves and beaches of the Pagasitikos Gulf at the foot of Mount Pelion - home of the mythical Centaurs and numerous picturesque villages, and referred to by The Times as Greece’s best kept secret.

You could explore the charming Northern Sporades islands - experience the famous beaches and cosmopolitan nightlife of Skiathos, savour the natural beauty and traditional cuisine of Mamma Mia's island, Skopelos, or encounter one of the rarest marine animals, the monk seal, at the Alonissos marine park, as well as the dolphins that frequent the crystal clear blue sea surrounding all of the islands.

There are direct flights to Volos (and to Skiathos) from many European cities. Otherwise, it is easily accessible by road from Athens (320 km - 3 hours drive by car) and Thessaloniki (200 km - 2 hours drive).
