Geschiedenis

The International House of Literature Passa Porta presents a diverse programme of literary encounters at Passa Porta Bookshop and at larger venues in Brussels. These often are organised in close collaboration with important cultural institutions such as opera house La Monnaie/De Munt, fine arts centre Bozar, music and film centre Flagey, Kaaitheater or AB. There is also an international programme for writers in residence along with various creative projects for authors and translators.

Every two years, Passa Porta organises the Passa Porta Festival, Belgium's most important international literary festival.
