Montoro12 is a contemporary art gallery promoting both emerging as well as internationally known contemporary artists. The gallery opened in 2012, in the center of Rome. In September 2017, Montoro12 inaugurated its dependance in Brussels' Sablon district, in Rue de la Régence 67.
Beside the exhibition program, the gallery aims to discover upcoming talents and to actively contribute to the fertile contemporary art scene of Brussels, by organising cross-cultural events as well as supporting selected projects in their 200 square meters exhibition space.

Vertaald door Google Deze galerij heeft geen ethiek. Ik kocht een stuk dat ik vond op Artsy van Montoro 12 Gallery. We hebben een Chris Soal Piece gekocht.  De galerij verklaarde toen dat ze het stuk niet zouden verzenden nadat ik het stuk al volledig had betaald vanwege stijgende verzendkosten, tenzij ik meer betaalde. Dus ik werkte met hen samen om extra verzendkosten te betalen, omdat ik geen keus had en het stuk wilde hebben. Ze brachten me 3500 extra in rekening en beloofden dat ze me de oorspronkelijke verzendkosten zouden terugbetalen. Ze hebben het stuk verzonden en toen we het ontvingen, hadden ze het verkeerde stuk verzonden. Het is vergelijkbaar, maar niet degene die we hebben gekocht. Dus nu weigeren ze dit stuk terug te nemen en hebben ze duizenden dollars van ons afgenomen. We hebben bijna 15k dollar uitgegeven. We hebben wel een kunstwerk dat eruitziet zoals we wilden, maar het is te groot voor de ruimte en is onbruikbaar vanwege de grootte. Vertrouw deze galerij niet omdat ze weigeren ons het stuk te geven waarvoor we hebben betaald of het stuk terug te nemen dat we hebben ontvangen. We hebben dit stuk bijna een jaar geleden gekocht en ik probeer er nog steeds mee om te gaan en zal het stuk waarschijnlijk moeten opslaan totdat ik het kan doorverkopen.  Origineel This gallery has no ethics. I purchased a piece that I found on Artsy from Montoro 12 Gallery. We purchased a Chris Soal Piece.  The gallery then stated they would not ship the pieceafter I had already paid for the piece in full due to shipping costs rising unless I paid more. So I worked with them to pay additional shipping costs since I had no choice and wanted to get the piece. They charged me an additional 3500 and promised they would refund me the original shipping charges. They shipped out the piece and when we received it, they had shipped out the wrong piece. It is similar but not the one we purchased. So now they are refusing to take this piece back and have taken thousands of dollars from us. We have spent nearly 15k us dollars. We do have a piece of art that looks just like the one we wanted, but it is too big for the space and is unusable due to the size. Do not trust this gallery as they refuse to give us the piece we paid for or take back the piece we received. We purchased this piece nearly a year ago and I am still trying to deal with them and will probably have to store the piece until I can resell it.
