Le château is a non-profit space for contemporary art hosted in a Cinderella's castle scale model. It was founded in Brussels, Belgium in 2013 by Léa Mayer and Maëlle Maisonneuve.

Le château is a traveling art platform founded in Brussels in 2013 by Léa Mayer and Maëlle Maisonneuve.
Le château is a non-profit exhibition space established in a miniature castle.
The purpose of Le château is to provide an autonomous exhibition space (small as it may be) and to promote young artists.
Le château is completely free from any profit judgement, the purpose of Le Château is to support promising artistic approaches.
Le château has about 515 cm2 of exhibition space, its volume is about 9630 cm3.
Due to its small size, the castle is transportable by mail which gives it an international visibility.
Le château is a constraint which makes visible the diversity of the artistic approaches.
Le château is led by a desire to share, exchange and support.
Le château creates social bond, postal and international relationships.
Kids love the Le château, the others as well.
Le château is hosted by the courtesans and presented in their city of residence.
To be a courtisan of Le Château, you simply need to complete the application form online, welcome!
To exhibit at Le château, just reply to the call for proposals, launched three times a year.
Le Château will open soon with the belgian artist Marina Phillipart as a first guest.

Le château est une plateforme artistique itinérante fondée à Bruxelles en 2013 par Léa Mayer et Maëlle Maisonneuve.
Le château est un espace d’exposition à but non-lucratif créé dans un château miniature.
Le but du château est de fonder un lieu d’exposition autonome (aussi petit soit-il) et de promouvoir la jeune création.
Le château est un lieu émancipé de tout jugement lucratif, l’unique but du château est l’accompagnement de démarches artistiques prometteuses.
Le château dispose d’environ 515 cm2 d’espace d’exposition, il fait environ 9630 cm3.
Dû à sa petite taille, le château est transportable par voie postale et permet ainsi une visibilité à l’international.
Le château est une contrainte qui rend visible la diversité des approches artistes participants.
Le château est mené par un désir de partage, d’échange et de soutien.

Pour pouvoir exposer au château, il suffit de répondre à l’appel à projet, lancé trois fois par an.
Le château ouvrira ses portes prochainement avec l’intervention de l’artiste belge Marina Phillipart.
