We at Kompas Coffee Culture believe that one way to expand a barista’s skillset is trough some sort of competition. That being said, we feel that too little is being offered to help barista’s along the way.
✦ Enter “The Kompas Coffee League”✦
Trough a series of challenges we call on all professional barista’s out there to prove your worth in a fast paced multi disciplined event. For now we’re covering the 3 most known areas.
We start off in Ghent with Latte Art
Move down to Kortrijk for Brewing
and an Espresso-based challenge in Antwerp.
This all culminates in a grand Final event where 5 finalists fight for the title of “Best allround barista”.
Our aim is to challenge you as a barista and help you prepare or understand what it is like competing, maybe even spark your interest in competing in an official event.
