Geschiedenis

Inclusion Europe is the European voice of persons with an intellectual disability and their families.

The organisation has 71 members across 38 countries in the region and has been at the forefront of progressing inclusion in Europe.

Key achievements include:

- Growing the self-advocacy movement in Europe, for example through the European Platform of Self-Advocates (EPSA)

- Developing easy-to-read standards and spreading easy-to-read throughout Europe

- Advancing supported decision-making in Europe to replace guardianship
