Geschiedenis

Today, Halen Breweries brews some traditional abbey ales inspired by the Cistercians who came to Halen almost 900 years ago. The Barley is grown on the same place where is was grown 900 years ago and the other ingredients are also being grown locally.

Further on, Halen Breweries wants to create renewed, contemporary beers, brewed in the traditional Belgian way, using as much as possible the local products of the area of Halen.
