Il Gruppo di Iniziativa Italiana (GII) è l’associazione che rappresenta la comunità italiana a Bruxelles in campo imprenditoriale, agroalimentare, d’innovazione, ricerca, e servizi. Dal 1995, il GII è impegnato a valorizzare l’immagine dell’Italia nella Capitale Europea, attraverso il coordinamento degli attori italiani e la creazione di un network di relazioni con le istituzioni belghe ed europee.
Negli ultimi anni il GII si è fatto promotore di incontri di alto profilo con rappresentanti istituzionali ed imprenditoriali sui temi dell’attualità economica e dell’impresa, in Italia ed in Europa.
