Created in 1996, the "Grand Raid Godefroy" is the longest Belgian Mtb Marathon and one of the most famous and awaited for every Mountainbike lovers!

Geschiedenis

Créé en 1996, le Grand Raid Godefroy a ouvert la voie à de nombreux classiques de la discipline dans le pays. Après quelques années de disettes, une bande de bikers passionnés, conscients du potentiel énorme de la région de Bouillon, a décidé de se retrousser les manches pour reprendre le GRG et l’aider à retrouver sa place parmi les plus beaux marathons VTT de Belgique.

Le GRG est traditionellement organisé le second w-e de septembre.

Launched in 1996, the Grand Raid Godefroy is a pioneer of a lot of marathon in Belgium.
After more than ten years of success (up to 3500 riders), this organization has been affected by 4-5 years of decrease in terms of attendance, quality and image. A team of 9 Mtb lovers really would like to redynamize this beautiful event and bring it back to his former glory.

The usual date of the GRG is set on the second week-end of September.
