Geschiedenis

Born during the interwar period of techno (2005 - 2010), when minimal was king,
Fabrik was as a reaction to this time and its music. Therefore, first of all, Fabrik
is a celebration of techno. In any possible form but mostly inspired by the original
power, drive and sound it generated in the early days. All artists invited to our
events are believed to have the same passion and love for this music.

Nevertheless Fabrik has always looked forward. To be faithful to its origin does
not mean living in a nostalgic past. We promote new music by new or relevant
artists and try to stay away from the "retro" as much as possible.

All of the people behind Fabrik are artists and as any other artist we are
influenced by many other things next to music. So throughout the years we have
turned into something more than just another techno party. With Fabrik we aim to
be a platform for all kinds of creative minds. Next to the creation of our very own
decoration team, this has resulted in regular collaborations with several visual,
graphical and new media artists and organizations.

Towards the future, our goal is to further expand this vision of a visual and auditive
blend through events, radio or any other related form. Creating an atmosphere
where you can feast all of your senses.
