We provide over 700 GPCR functional and radioligand binding assays that can be used for high throughput screening, molecular pharmacology and profiling with radioligand binding and/or functional assays. In addition, we provide tailor-made assay development to fit exactly to your expectations and adequately address your specific research programs.

Our broad experience in molecular and cellular biology means we also offer services outside of the GPCR niche including ion channels, kinases and other enzymes.

GPCR DEORPHANIZATION
EuroscreenFAST has the largest collection of human and animal tissue extracts and recombinant cell lines expressing orphan human receptors for use in deorphanization programs, as well as 20 years of expertise and an extensive track record in this area. Since its creation, Euroscreen took an active part in over 12 successful deorphanization programs leading to numerous patents and publications.

The service combines our reagents, equipment and technologies to drive the deorphanization research. One of our competitive advantages comes from the wide collection of human and animal tissue extracts used for the screening and identification of natural ligands for orphan GPCRs. These extracts are processed using optimized protocols to obtain either peptides, proteins, biogenic amines or lipid candidates as sources of GPCR ligands. Moreover, most of the orphan human GPCRs have been cloned and expressed in recombinant cell lines adapted to functional screening.

This expertise has been recognized by pharmaceutical companies that entered into collaborative programs with Euroscreen for selected orphan GPCRs, like Solvay Pharmaceuticals and Novartis.

RECOMBINANT CELL LINES AND MEMBRANE PREPARATION
EuroscreenFAST is offering fully customized development for cell lines and derived cell membrane preparation including characterization in radioligand binding and multiple functional assays.

RESEARCH SOLUTION & OPTIMIZED ASSAYS FOR YOUR DRUG DISCOVERY PROGRAMS
Our GPCR assay catalogue offers more than 390 recombinant receptors expressed in stable, clonal cell lines and validated in over 700 binding and functional assays. We also offer our 20 years of GPCR expertise to help clients develop assays for mutant or orthologous receptors heterodimers, and functional antibody screening.

HIGH TROUGHPUT SCREENING PLATFORM
Our platform can screen up to 200,000 compounds for agonist, antagonist or allosteric modulator activity in 15 days using various GPCR assays. Our programs include assay development and validation, HTS, confirmation of positives, dose response curves of confirmed actives and selectivity determination. As for all our services, we pride ourselves on our flexibility and will adapt to fit exactly to your needs.

HIT-TO-LEAD AND LEAD OPTIMIZATION SUPPORT
Characterization of your compounds in one or more of our assays (cAMP, IP-One, Aequorin, GTPgS, ERK1/2, Radioligand Binding, or customized assays) to determine agonist, antagonist or allosteric modulator potency, efficacy and functional selectivity with your data returned 5 days after compound delivery for repetitive testing.

We speed-up your pre-clinical candidate by offering in vitro ADME/Tox package including CYPs profile, hERG binding, Caco-2 permeability, HepG2 viability, microsomes stability and plasma protein binding.

GPCR FUNCTIONAL PROFILING
We provide off-the-self profiling panels like a functional diversity profile of 57 human GPCRs, profiles to test allosteric modulators, specific receptor family panels (e.g. human and rodent chemokine, human serotonin, human mGlu receptors etc...), therapeutic area and safety panels, as well as customized panels that you design from our assays.
