EUREKA is an intergovernmental platform for innovation: a network of 44 countries and the EU funding organisations performing R&D in all tech sectors.

Geschiedenis

The EUREKA Network is a bottom-up, non-profit and non-military initiative.

A EUREKA Individual Project's funding comes from national governments and partnerships are typically between small to medium enterprise (SMEs) businesses, but also include large companies, research institutions and even universities.

Eurostars is a joint programme between more than 40 EUREKA member countries and the European Union.

Marketing & Communications of the Network is handled by the EUREKA Secretariat (ESE) in Brussels, Belgium.
