EDIW's mission is to empower young people to promote and foster actions and projects to build an inclusive society.

Geschiedenis

EDIW (international non-profit association) promotes and supports action and projects in the field of education that are directed towards the formation of citizens committed to greater justice in an interdependent world. It works in partnership with universities, international organizations, professional bodies and other platforms to enable students and young people to further develop their capacities and skills through educational and academic exchange programs and professional internships. Networks and empowerment structures for young professionals, students, and other young people will enable them to further develop their capacity and responsibility to envision, create and develop such projects and actions.

EDIW members are professionals who identify themselves with the mission and are willing to engage with it. Corporate members include youth and Education organizations, particularly Universities and NGOs. EDIW is represented in Spain, Italy, France, England, Ireland, Luxembourg, Germany and Portugal.
