We Exist is set up and managed by Syrians. Our objective is to facilitate the access into the labour market for people who fled conflict and persecution.

Geschiedenis
We Exist is an NGO whose objective is to facilitate the access into the labour market for people who fled conflict and persecution. It is also our aim to promote participation in social, economic and cultural life. The NGO is organising awareness raising events as well as social, cultural and culinary events intended to bring Oriental and European tradi-tions more closely together. We believe that we can show the richness of our diversity and multiculturalism through positive social events.
  
We Exist wants to raise awareness of the obstacles people who fled conflict and persecution face on a daily basis. We want to help find solutions. We believe that solutions exist and that we need to work together in order to eliminate discrimination and prejudice. It is very important to include people who fled conflict and persecution in all the activities that We Exist will do as we believe we have the experience, competence and knowledge needed to help other people arriving in Belgium.
  
We Exist is built on mutual respect towards every person regardless of ethnicity, religion, race, sexual or gender identity.
 
We hope that our voluntary, professional and academic experience can make a difference and make people arriving in Belgium to feel welcome. 
"We Exist is created and managed by Syrians.Since September 2015, we have assisted newcomers arriving in Belgium as free-lance volunteers. We are aware of many obstacles people are facing and that is how we came up with the idea of We Exist – we wanted to open job opportunities while connecting traditions and cultures.We Exist was set up in September 2016. Since then, team of Syrian volunteers have been preparing Syrian meals for different private and professional events. We Exist is organising events intended to bring Oriental and European traditions more closely together."
