The European Committee of the Regions invites you to get engaged and raise awareness about better waste management while helping to improve recycling laws in your region!

Geschiedenis
The Y-Factor project aims to reach out to the youth and to have an impact with regards to their view on the EU and how they envision the future of it. Our project aims to deal with the rising challenges posed by climate change by tackling an issue each citizen can have an impact on: recycling. We aim to raise awareness about better waste management and help improve recycling laws in your region. It is important to us to spread the values of the European Union and we hope that the Y-Factor project can contribute to a positive understanding of the Union by the youth.

There will be an awareness campaign organised over our social media channels focusing on what you can do to recycle better as well as on various regions around the EU and what they do to improve waste management.  Secondly, a conference summarizing the campaign will be held in Brussels where local politicians, stakeholders and activists can share concrete visions and ideas about future recycling laws. Both "end products", which are interlinked by the subject of the future of the EU, will be presented at the end of the conference.

[Y]Factor is a bi-annual project, designed and implemented by the trainees of the European Committee of the Regions. Each session of trainees inherits the brand and puts their own shape on it.
