Geschiedenis Humans always want to push boundaries. Now it's time for the next step and to travel to Mars. But are we ready for the technical challenges? Up to now only one third of the Mars-missions succeeded. The reason for that is that the martian atmosphere is one hundred times thinner than ours. This makes it hard to determine the location of the touch down. What are the solutions? And what happens if we land too far away from the base camp? We are the Belgian Martians and we want to contribute to this big step. Our project is called Xplorer I and it's going to be the first CanSat that can steer itself automatically. So it's going to make his own decisions in based on his own observations. We're going to shoot with a 360° degree camera and you can follow the landing live on this website like a real Mars mission. But we aren't there yet and we need your help. So we invite you to support our scientific project, now!
