Z-collection

Chair manufacturer De Zetel from Ardooie has accumulated a rich history since its establishment in 1923. The leitmotiv in this family tradition is that De Zetel has always produced solid wooden tables and chairs in European beech and oak.

De Zetel is synonymous with craftsmanship, craftsmanship varnished with a layer of innovation. Wooden tables and chairs, sanded to perfection and polished with year-long expertise.

De Zetel’s striving for quality, combined with a constant urge for innovation, is quite clearly present in all the products manufactured by the company. From design to final result: designed by craftsmen in order to be created by craftsmen.

Our collections

In addition to supplying European furniture manufacturers, De Zetel is also active in the project market for the care sector and the catering industry. In order to be able to anticipate the needs of each target group, De Zetel developed 4 collections: Z-Creations, Z-Comfort, Z-Classics and Z-Church.
 
Z-Creations

Z-Creations is the division within De Zetel which concentrates on the creation of chairs for the catering industry and project market. This demanding as well as special segment of the project market benefits from the company’s many decades of experience. On top of that, Z-Creations enables the cross-pollination with creative talents such as product designers and interior architects. Not only does the unit want to launch a handful of new products every year, they also want to profile themselves as an innovative project partner and point of call for the project market as well as designers.
 
Z-Comfort

Z-Comfort stands for the ergonomics and pure comfort directed mainly at various care institutions. At De Zetel comfort can be trendy too. Axel Enthoven designed a line for Z-Comfort which is both trendy-looking and very comfortable: design and functionality on one line.

Z-Classics

Timeless models, or rather a collection from a creative talent, and this for the furniture makers as well as the project decorators. Z-Classics has it all. New designs are developed in consultation with a team of specialists. This collection is specially developed for the client who yearns for tradition.

Z-Church

This collection harks back to the origins of De Zetel, i.e. church chairs. An extensive assortment offers perfect solutions for monumental buildings. Functional, up-to-date and ergonomic.
