Orsi Academy is a unique center for surgical innovation and expertise in minimal invasive surgery. The state-of-the art accommodation creates an ideal environment for surgeons to master new, innovative techniques safely and comprehensively.

Geschiedenis
ORSI stands for the OLV Robotic Surgery Institute. Endorsed by Belgium’s top universities ‘University of Ghent’ and ‘Catholic University of Leuven’, Orsi Academy creates highly validated and accredited (NASCE, CME, EAU, …) training pathways for university students, residents, assistants and established doctors. To give participants the ability to learn from top experts, Orsi Academy has close collaborations with expert hospitals for live case observations.

Orsi Academy supports and encourages all initiatives that contribute to the development of MIS. Therefore, we offer third parties whose MIS-initiative might benefit from our state-of-the art set-up the possibility to rent (parts of) the infrastructure.

In its ambition to unite global innovative efforts in minimally invasive surgery in the heart of Europe and to meet present and future evolutions, the Orsi Academy is building a new, state-of-the art campus.
