L’association a pour objets : 
•	l’étude, la recherche et la diffusion des connaissances en matière d’organisation de dispositifs de participation et de délibération citoyennes, aux échelles locale, nationale et internationale ;
•	la coordination et l’organisation de dispositifs de participation et de délibération citoyennes ;
•	le développement de nouveaux dispositifs, techniques et outils de participation et de délibération citoyennes, avec un accent particulier sur l’utilisation des technologies de l’information et de la communication, et leur diffusion à large échelle.

The objectives of the association are:
• to study and research organization of citizen participation and deliberation designs at local, national and international levels;
• coordination and organization of citizen participation and deliberation designs;
• the development of new mechanisms, techniques and tools for citizen participation and deliberation, with particular emphasis on the use of information and communication technologies and their widespread dissemination.
