Geschiedenis Autodidact photographer, I got my first SLR camera, a Minolta sRT 303b, when I was about 15 years old. I used to spend hours a week riding my bike in the nature around our house, or walking the streets of cities, on the lookout for an interesting shot. Back home, I spent some more hours in the darkroom that my father had installed in the basement, amid chemicals and photo papers. Now, forty years later, a lot have changed. I traded my film cameras for digital gear from Canon, and instead of spending the afternoon processing my negatives in the darkroom, I now do my postprocessing on the iMac in Lightroom :-). The techniques have changed, but the pleasure remains.
