Info CIFA (China Independent Film Archive) is a non-profit organization devoted to collecting, preserving and promoting Chinese independent films. Geschiedenis With a database of more than 200 films, ranging from documentary and fiction to animation and experimental, we aim to highlight the power of Chinese independent films and contribute to a better environment for their growth, by helping creative images' production, preservation and presentation, in China and abroad. Within both international and local perspectives, CIFA tries to achieve these goals through screenings, curatorial work, database building, online activation, publications, and collaboration with related bodies for independent films.
