This temple of fancy dress is a family business, now run by the son of the household. As its name suggests, HAIR CLUB started life selling wigs, for everyday use as well as for the theatre, then for the circus, drag queens and other professional shows. Today, in order to cater for a clientelle of as many individuals as professionals and because of demand, it provides everything else necessary for dressing-up: *make-up* (only professional brands), *costumes* and *accessoires*. You only have to stroll through the four floors of the shop to appreciate the vastness of the stock on offer; *necklaces*, *rings*, *glasses*, *boas*, *feathers*, *braid* and *sequins*. A milliner specialising in feathers makes the *hats*; *shoes* are made and rented in standard models and to special order. The *costumes*, to rent or buy, can also be made-to-measure. You will encounter *Father Christmas*, characters from films like *Cat Woman* and *Darth Vader*, animal figuers for parades, cartoon characters and drag queens. There is even one room especially set aside for *Halloween*. Speciality of the house; creation, rental and sale of costumes and wigs
