The Faculty of Pharmaceutical, Biomedical and Veterinary Sciences provides education, research and services in the life sciences.

Geschiedenis
De Faculteit Farmaceutische, Biomedische en Diergeneeskundige Wetenschappen staat voor doorgedreven multi- en interdisciplinair onderwijs en onderzoek. De faculteit biedt bachelor- en masteropleidingen in de farmaceutische wetenschappen, de biomedische wetenschappen en de biochemie en biotechnologie, en een bacheloropleiding in de diergeneeskunde. Daarnaast is ze betrokken bij twee Erasmus Mundus masteropleidingen, EUCOMOR en LIVE. De Faculteit werkt samen met prestigieuze partners, zoals het VIB en het Instituut voor Tropische Geneeskunde, en streeft daarnaast naar de valorisatie van haar onderzoek in maatschappij en industrie.

The Faculty of Pharmaceutical, Biomedical and Veterinary Sciences of the University of Antwerp stands out thanks to its exhaustive interdisciplinary education and research programmes. The Faculty offers Bachelor and Master programmes in pharmaceutical sciences, biomedical sciences and biochemistry and biotechnology, and a Bachelor programme in Veterinary Medicine. She participates in two Erasmus Mundus Master programmes, EUCOMOR and LIVE. The faculty is also involved in a number of prestigious partnerships, such as with the Flemish Intitute of Biotechnology and the Institute of Tropical Medicine Antwerp, and never loses sight of the need to valorise its research to reality and industry.
