The port is also situated at the axis of sea traffic between the UK and Continental Europe. The Bruges city center is only 10 miles away. Belgium is devided in 2 parts: in the northern you have Flanders, in the southern you have Wallonia. But there is also a good possibility for transportation with our neighbouring countries: thanks to the high-speed railway network and the excellent road system, major European cities like London, Paris and Amsterdam are never more than 2-3 hours away!
