Over a period of almost 100 years, ACV-CSC Food and Services has developed a strong trade union federation with more than 260,000 members.

Geschiedenis

Over a period of almost 100 years, ACV-CSC Food and Services has developed a strong trade union federation with more than 260,000 members. Our staff do everthing in their power on a daily basis to offer the members a good service.

The ACV-CSC service is very broad:
- pay-out of union rebates
- complaints handling
- help with administrative formalities concerning
work
- information provision
- legal assistance
- creation of unemployment dossiers
- ...

Fortunately, we can count on a lot of volunteers who work actively in the unions. Our more than 7,000 militants represent us in the workplace, and make us a strong movement.

Our remit has become broader and broader in recent years. So we pay more attention to the training of militants, with our own non-profit training organisation ‘Vooruit met Vorming’ (Forward with Training). We also invest heavily in communication, to inform our members optimally about their rights. And of course we also attach a great deal of importance to representation of collective interests. Through social dialogue, we aim to improve the working conditions of all workers. At international level, we want to use our expertise to improve the situation of workers.
