COLOR PASSPORT is the home of Color Passport Institute (since 1995), Color Passport System, My Color Passport and UQ Talents.

Our talented and passionate team of color professionals works from our offices in Antwerp, New York and Shanghai. Through our network of international partners, we work with the finest companies, brand owners and professionals in the world across diverse disciplines.

The Color Passport research team has developed groundbreaking tools, software and services for professionals and consumers. It is our mission to create a better understanding of color for those working with it and to stimulate more comprehensive color use all over the world.

COLOR PASSPORT INSTITUTE was founded by Engineer Luc Van Renthergem in 1995 and stands at the heart of our company. This color research center has been studying color in all its aspects including a specialization that analyzes the impact of color on our brain.

Besides Color Research and Development, we provide Color Consulting and Profiling, Color Management, Color Audits, Trend Forecasting and Color Education workshops for a wide range of leading international companies. Our customers hail from a range of fields such as fashion, cosmetics, paint, home décor, architecture, graphic & product design, printing, advertising, and more.

Our theory has been embraced by the academic world with several universities and design schools across the globe incorporating our color course into their curriculum to train the next generation of designers.

MY COLOR PASSPORT is a patented and unique device and APP for consumer color matching & styling. The technology was developed after extensive testing on more than 30,000 consumers. Think of it as is your personal color coach.

The My Color Passport was developed through a new technology that identifies the color type of each consumer (16 different types) based on the client’s physical properties including skin tone, hair and eye color. The consumer’s personal color preference is included in the assessment as well.

Once your type is defined, you receive a personal device with your basic color palette and complementary colors as well as an intelligent app that acts as your personal color coach.

In the My Color Passport app, choose colors from our color wheel or from a picture and combine them with a multitude of complementary color options. The resulting palettes can be saved and shared on social media. In your My Color Passport zone you can find your personal colors, trend colors, make-up colors, how to wear black & white and even the scents fitting your type.

The app also includes a daily color news feed and a quarterly digital magazine made specially for your color type. My Color Passport is further partnering with fashion, cosmetic and lifestyle brands to redefine color content for the 16 different types.

For the Benelux countries, Color Passport founded a joint venture with the Finnish publishing group Sanoma, market leader in women’s fashion and home décor in Belgium and the Netherlands.

UQ Talents is our specialized division that researches how our brain interacts with color.

The UQ Talents team has gained in-depth knowledge of not only color’s influence on our brain, but also what personal color preferences or dislikes can tell us about an individual person.

Several products, software and services are currently being developed with amazing results in HR and team building as well as “people” matching. UQ Talents also offers consultancy services and organizes workshops around Color Psychology.
