Geschiedenis

The Camping Town, with its tree-houses “to sleep” and its studio “to create”, is a place dedicated to alternative cohabitation and creation. Five individual three-houses, nested in a common space, reconcile the outside with the inside, allowing to live intimacy in a shared place. Utopic, primitive and futuristic, this structure is open to visitors and artists interested in what we call 'co-living' and 'co-working'.

Founded by Anne-Dolorès Marcélis to develop the activity of performance, Camping Town can be seen as a cross-point between the public and private sphere; nature and culture ; professionals and amateurs. It supports performance and the dance Contact Improvisation through an annual calendar of creation, that combines workshops and events.
