Brussels Mannekenfish is the water-polo team within Brussels Gay Sports

Geschiedenis

The water polo team Brussels Mannekenfish was established in 2012 within Brussels Gay Sports, with the objective to develop this collective sport and share good times in a friendly atmosphere.

Practicing water-polo requires good swimming skills and to feel confident in the water. Nevertheless, this sport is accessible to all and our first objective is to learn, build up our technique and last but not least, develop a true team spirit.

The training consists in different parts: warm up in the water, followed by practical and tactic exercises. Usually, the training ends with a little friendly match.

The team also participates in tournament, friendly games and training camps in Belgium and abroad. A good opportunity to travel, have fun and meet new people!

Bootcamps for newcomers are yearly planned. If you want to join the team or if you have questions, feel free to contact us.
