Alain and Evelyne Morel de Westgaver launched their auctions in 2000. They organize 3 to 4 auctions a year.
The ongoing story of Alain and Evelyne Morel and books began in 1981, with the opening their first book-shop in the heart of Brussels. Since then, they've been working together with the idea of opening the doors of the old-book-world to new book-lovers. Following this idea, they organized with some colleagues in 1984 the first old book fair in Brussels, with a large success. In 2000, they decided to explore the world of auctions. Since then, they've took a great pleasure to present a large variety of books, bindings, maps, postcards, ephemera, and other curiosities for book lovers.
