Activities
We support life science academics, companies and non-profit organisations in proposal preparation, collaborative think tanks, management of collaborations, and business development.
With the project eTRIKS we are developing the eTRIKS Network to be a collaborative model for providing service to projects and organisations on the integration, preservation, and exploration of their translational research data. The aim is to help get the maximal value out of translational research datasets by helping to make them suited for re-use and providing the tools to allow all translational researcher the ability to conduct their own exploratory analyses. Unlike other networks the eTRIKS Network is envisioned as a collaboration where multiple service providers collaborate to serve a project instead of competing to be the sole provider.

Approach and Strategy:
BioSci Consulting helps organisations develop, implement, and valorise collaborations in the life science. We help make ideas for step changes in the life sciences concrete. Generating an idea is easy; transforming an idea into reality is difficult.

Our approach is both operational and strategic.
We apply lean start-up principles to all aspects of our work. A fundamental principle of lean is to iterate in rapid cycles. Operationally, we facilitate collaborative teams help them to focus on resolving issues that are blocking progress. Unresolved issues stay on the agenda until they are resolved. Our strategy is to draw from the breadth of expertise present in a given collaborative team to develop creative solutions. We make sure that everyone contributes, decisions are made, next actions are identified, and that both apparent and hidden conflicts are discussed and resolved in a transparent manner. We use our status as a neutral moderator to optimise the interaction dynamics of a team.
