"A true family storySixtyfive years of history are engraved in the walls of the bierpaleis.In 1954 Joseph Jockheere and Lucette Aelter are setting up a shop dedicated to the poultry which fastly becomes the place to be in the Katelijnestraat.The "chicken store" pleases everyone in Brugge, local customers, restaurants and scholars.From Chicken to beerIn 1990 Daniel and Paul, the two brothers, succeed to thier parents and ru the shop, little by little bringing changes , the beer finds its place amongst the poultry. Year after year the shop is trnasformed in a unique concept: the beirpaleis, where te mostexiting items about the world soccer are found along a huge selectio of more than 400 beers that you can taste in the bar and terrace"
