Barefoot is a startup studio creating and developing innovative companies.

Barefoot is a start-up studio, launched in July 2015 and operating from Brussels. Barefoot launches companies based on b2b2c solutions solving real corporate pains. These pains can be identified by Barefoot itself or by a corporate in search of innovation. In either case, Barefoot applies its home-made methodology to assess whether there is a product/market fit, before developing a MVP. This way, Barefoot serves as a risk mitigator for both investors and the entrepreneurs it hires to launch and lead the start-ups to success. Barefoot raises funds from private and professional investors.

In November 2017, Barefoot achieved its merger with Co.Builders, a French Accelerator, creating Barefoot&Co, a startup ecosystem with a complete offer, whose mutualised assets stimulate the development of ideas, of products and of startups. Each young sprout is developed and coached in many different ways, depending on their market and maturity position amongst the two complementary business lines:
- The Corporate Studio, creating B2B2C startups with and for major corporates to solve the problems they are facing.
- The Accelerator, allowing external intrapreneurs to benefit from the coaching program and the mutualized resources.

Barefoot&Co now becomes a strategic partner of the innovative WeNation ecosystem, whose mission is to help corporations boost their organisation by finding, channelling and renewing growth. WeNation has been built by a team of entrepreneurs, who strongly believe that a “Let’s-do-it-together” attitude is key to success and who consider human capital as part of a company’s first and greatest asset. WeNation gathers the best entrepreneurs in each of its business lines. The whole ecosystem shares a strong desire for shaking up the status quo: companies need to disrupt their traditional work organisation to fully exploit their business’ and collaborators’ potential.
