At the border of Galgenweel, Belgium's biggest lake for sailing, the summer months in Antwerp welcome BAR LEFT, a seasonal pop-up. Bar Left in 2 words? Your Escape. It’s close but far, it’s new but old, it’s there but it’s moving, it’s mine and it’s yours. Teasing a journey of curiosities.

Bar LEFT returns for another summer in 2017, injecting some extra creativity and flavour into the area. Respecting the natural landscape by the Galgenweel lake on the left bank of Antwerp, the goal is to create the perfect summer escape. A family-friendly place to be happy and disconnect from the chaos at only 10 minutes from the heart of Antwerp, easily accessible by bike, car and public transport.

Open six days a week, the kitchen will serve fresh street food classics while the stocked bar has a selection of delicious summer drinks, the ideal accompaniment to a sunny afternoon or an idyllic sunset.

Celebrating the Great Belgian Summer, Bar LEFT will offer happy hours, bike rides, picnic blankets, deckchairs, yoga workshops, petanque courts and more.

take tram 3, 5, 9, 15 direction Linkeroever/Zwijndrecht and get out at stop 'Antwerpen Caluwaert or Sporthal. From there on, follow the arrows to LEFT.

Find the building of Mediahuis (Gazet van Antwerpen) or type 'Katwilgweg 2, 2050 Antwerpen' in your GPS. From there, just follow the 'Bar LEFT' signs, they will get you to the magical blue stairs.
