Gaëtan Bonny opened "Atelier d'artistes" his first gallery in 2009. Since 2011, the Gallery Atelier d'artistes is located in the heart of Brussels.
The gallery's name finds its origins in the close relationship it entertains with the Artists' studio (Atelier d'artistes in French) and creative places - where the art is effectively produced. The gallery maintains a strong commitment to show the best art directly from the studios and to accompany collectors or those considering to collect with an educated testimonial on the artist's research, techniques and work.
The gallery aims at establishing long term relationships with artists (through primary dealership and international exposure) and with collectors and corporations (through genuine advisory services and excellence in delivery).
Since its opening the gallery shows art by Richard Agreiter, Anthony Oliver, Jorge Ferreira da Cunha, Orzone, Fred Chemama (aka Mira), Yon Costes, pinhole photographer Michel Bayard, photographer Melanie van Raaij and designer Ozan Berke (Designerdad).
Since 2012 the gallery is also the sole representative for François van Bastelaer, Kevin Marcell Escalona.
The gallery's program includes exhibitions of new works by historic gallery artists (also named "elements"-like the chemical ones in the table of elements) as well as new elements with a focus on abstraction, minimalism in the expression, reflection on the codes and grammars of art and language.
