A new Antwerp Star is born “The ANTWERP DIAMOND Cup” , an organization of Metropolis Danssport Club vzw, led by Karina Geerts and Louis Cornelissens.

The ANTWERP DIAMOND DANCESPORT CUP is an organization of the Metropolis Danssport Club.

The Metropolis Danssport Club under the lead of his president Louis Cornelissens and Karina Geerts, was founded in 1966 and has a rich experience in the organization of important dance sport events. Previous club president late Mr. Leon Leonard did bring as co-president of at that time IDSF several World- and European championships to Belgium and Antwerp and passed his large experience over to the actual organization committee.

For more than a decade the club and his many volunteers were a very important part of the Antwerp Stars Cup. The same team will now continue his amazing work during the Antwerp Diamond Cup.
